… Goodbye Sitia

After 3 1/2 months it is time to move on and leave our beautiful temporary home and great hosts Kate and Lefteris. When we first arrived at the end of November 2018 we instantly fell in in love with this city and it hasn’t changed. The laid back but vibrant atmosphere, the friendly and open people we met and the great cafes and restaurants will be kept in our memory. It feels a bit strange to leave the house move back into the car but at the same we feel energized and curious to explore the western part of Crete. The weather has changed and it looks as if spring has finally arrived. The temperature is now above 20 degrees and the blue of the sky matches the color of the sea.  After a short stop in Ierapetra we arrived in Agia Galini. We are lucky that the campground „no problem“ is already (or still) open. The young couple running the campground is busy with renovating and preparing the place for the opening season but showers have warm water and the village with its shops and restaurants is close. What more can we ask for?

One Life. Live It!
