A rather rainy day and the urge to buy some wine demanded a visit to  Idre, just 30 kms north of Särna. After shopping was accomplished and a great lunch at the local burger joint we explored the region north of Idre and discovered the Grövelsjön lake. We decided to surround it by foot. In the afternoon the weather slowly cleared up and hte evening surprised us with somewhat of a nice sunset.

On Saturday morning after packing up we returned to Mora and passed Älvdalen were a roundup of  fans of American cars  seemed to take place. Continueing further east even we  saw a lot of Thunderbirds, Camaros, Lincoln Continentals, Mustangs , etc. all heading towards the festival.

Örebro didn’t like us. As soon as we got out of the car,  heavy rain started which significantly decreased our time for the visit.  On our way down south we ended in Tiveden  and found a great camping spot right on the lake.  Camilla prepared dinner under extreme conditions in a heavy thunderstorm. Snuggling tight under the awning we enjoyed a geat dinner. I guess I don’t have to mention that the remaining rum didn’t make it to the next day.
